GLUTEN FREE HAM AND BEAN SOUP
INGREDIENTS

    1 cans great Northern beans
    1/2 can black beans
    4 cups water
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cups finely chopped ham
    1/2 cup chopped carrots
    1 stalk chopped celery
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 teaspoon minced garlic
    1 teaspoon mustard powder
    1 bay leaf
    1 teaspoon pepper
    2 tablespoons olive oil



INSTRUCTIONS

1.    Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large stock pot.  Add onion, carrots and celery and cook until soft. About 5 minutes.

2.    Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil.  Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hours.  Remove bay leaves before serving.


Note: You may take to 2/3 of the soup and puree in a blender or food processor to make the soup smoother.
